Aboriginal History and Heritage Tour of the Rocks

In celebration of NAIDOC Week, and this year’s theme ‘Because of her, we can’, the Rocks Discovery Museum is running 2.5-hour tours from Tallawoladah Place (at the entrance of the Museum of Contemporary Art) led by Aboriginal guides. You guide will provide you with an understanding of local Aboriginal culture, identity and history, while focusing on the invaluable contributions Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made to our communities, families, rich history, and nation. The tour also includes a stop at the Rocks Discovery Museum, where you’ll get to see a variety of Aboriginal artefacts on display. Book ahead by emailing tours@property.nsw.gov.au.
