AC Grayling is a well-respected philosophy literary who believes that philosophy should take an active and useful role in everyday life. This April he’ll be taking his thought-provoking rhetoric to the Seymour Centre for a conversation about the 17th century.
Grayling considers this period significant, as it was a time defined and fuelled by original thought, war and new technologies. He dubs this turbulent century 'the Age of Genius', and will speak on how this period has become a beacon for radical human progression and unorthodox thinking.
