Time Out says

Escape the frenzy of the city for a full day of family-friendly fun

There’s plenty to do if you’re in South West Sydney on January 26th this year, with festivities spread out over three locations in the Macarthur region.

Kick things off bright and early by officially welcoming new citizens and celebrating local heroes in the morning – there are ceremonies taking place at 8am at Koshigaya Park in Campbelltown, 9am at Camden Civic Centre, and 11am at the Greg Percival Community Centre in Ingleburn. If you’re at the Ingleburn ceremony, stick around for a free morning tea and barbecue followed by games and activities for the kids.

Head back to Koshigaya Park from 4pm, when the park will transform into a festival ground complete with carnival rides, market stalls and live entertainment, capped off with a grand fireworks display at 9pm.
