This night sees the slightly dull game of bingo jazzed up by some of Sydney's favourite drag queens, sing-a-longs and laugh out loud commentary. Established in 1999, Bingay has found a new home at upstairs at the Beresford Hotel, following four years at the now closed Midnight Shift. The monthly camp games evening also serves as a fundraiser for LGBTQIA health organisation ACON. The first edition back will celebrate pop darlings, Kylie and Dannii Minogue, with prizes that include theatre tickets, restaurant vouchers and some silly surprises.
Hosts Charisma Belle and Naomi Palmer will spin the balls and call out 17s (or dancing queens), 35s (jump and jive) and more with plenty of pizazz. There will also be a one-off Christmas edition held at Paddington RSL on Friday December 8.
