Time Out says

Put a tipsy, Picasso-style twist on your favourite pop icons

Cork and Canvas are pioneers in the realm of booze and brushes, boasting the claim of the first paint and sip studio in Australia since their Melbourne launch in 2013. They’ve since opened two Sydney venues in Darlinghurst and Crows Nest, but are now setting their sights beyond your standard studio to celebrate their seventh birthday in style.

Madame Tussauds will be opening after dark to provide exclusive access for a new, Picasso-style VIP painting experience where you’re encouraged to paint your inner pop star. The three-hour experience includes the chance to guide yourself through the exhibit after hours - take the opportunity to hang upside down with Spider-Man or join the royals in a family portrait.

After getting up close and personal with your favourite stars, you can sit down and recreate them in a two-hour paint and sip session in the MTV room, accompanied by grazing platters of assorted meats, cheese, antipasti and breads. And, of course, it wouldn’t be called “Champainting” without some sparkling, with the bottomless drinks package also including red and white wine, beer and soft drinks.

Keep an eye out for more public Cork and Canvas events to be announced throughout the year at venues like the Sydney Tower Eye, or all the experiences are available for private events if you want to take corporate team building to the next level.
