Learn how to make this fermented favourite and mix up some firey cocktails

Sweet and zingy with just the right spicy kick, ginger beer is a thirst-quenching fave that’s been titillating taste buds since long before kombucha fanatics started swapping and selling globs of yeast.

If you’re in the mood to make your own brew of gingery goodness, head to Acre Eatery on 8 November, when the venue's bar manager will be revealing the tricks of their trade during a special 90-minute ginger beer workshop.

Prefer your beverage with a little extra vavavoom? Not to worry, you’ll also mix up some alcoholic versions as you create and shake your way through some ginger cocktails, with share snacks provided from Acre’s specialty farm-to-table menu.
