Time Out says

The pop-up cafe for Sculpture by the Sea is back, and this time it's desert themed

Every year Sculpture by the Sea pulls huge crowds to Bondi's coastal walk for some alfresco art and fresh sea air. And in what can only be described as a stroke of genius, the Grounds of Alexandria ship in a pop-up café each year so that you can combine your art adventures with snacks and coffee.

This year the pop-up in Marks Park is themed around the Arizona desert, with the building inspired by the adobe red brick houses, with cacti and desert flowers in the yard, wrought iron furniture, tiled tabletops and garden benches.

If nothing else, the colour palette of terracotta peach, coral and salmon is going to go a treat with the big blue in the background and the yellow beach, so expect an Instagram frenzy when doors open. Seriously, they made this to blend in with the sunrise so it's going to look great even with #nofilter.

On the eats front you can expect healthy breakfast bowls, seafood platters and burgers, and everything on the menu is going to be sporting a lot of coconut, chilli and lime to go with the theme.
