Show your support for blood cancer at Light the Night’s lantern walk

The Leukemia Foundation is hosting their tenth Light the Night lantern walk at Barangaroo this October to show support for people living with blood cancer. Last year participants raised over $2 million to aid the Leukemia Foundation’s research and services for the blood cancer community. Family and friends can carry a gold lantern to remember their loved ones, a white lantern to mark their own blood cancer journey or a blue lantern to show they care at the event. Participants are encouraged to raise money for the cause beforehand and can earn badges online for recognition during fundraising. Light the Night is an annual event of support that drew over 35,000 people from each state in Australia. Bring the whole family to walk along Walumil Lawns at Barangaroo, where entertainment and food stalls will also be available.
