Chocolate might not be good for dogs, but there’s plenty more on offer for your prized pup at this year’s Easter egg hunt for dogs in Sydney Park
If the only thing you love more than a chocolate fix is your scruffy Schnauzer, then the Mad Paws Easter Fair is the place for you. Returning this year on March 17, the fair welcomes all members of the family to join their pups for a day of games, prizes, doggy health checks and fashion showdowns.
There’s a dog-whispering workshop that will help frustrated owners wrangle more mischievous pets, while disciplined doggos can show off their skills on an agility course or their refined looks in the best-dressed competition.
While the dogs get their free dental check-up and the kids have their faces painted, busy pet parents who need some pampering can enjoy a free massage. There will be both human and dog treats to sample at the fair stalls, and an opportunity to commemorate the day with a puppy ‘pawtrait’.
Always thinking of the safety of our furry friends, the event will support Marrickville’s no kill animal welfare charity, Maggie’s Rescue.
And of course, the day will be rounded out with the Easter egg hunt for dogs (minus the chocolate).
