Time Out says

Spoil your mum on her special day with an indulgent high tea experience

If the way to your mum’s heart is via her stomach, treating her to a sensorial high tea at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney this Mother’s Day could just earn you the title of her favourite child – especially when we tell you what this sweet feast includes.

The Mother’s Day High Tea at Mode Kitchen and Bar (the signature restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney) has been created in collaboration with the luxurious French perfumery, Parfums de Marly. That means every mum in attendance will receive a complimentary gift valued at over $150 and welcome cocktail inspired by Parfums de Marly’s newest scent, Oriana – a sunny, seductive fragrance with notes of Italian bergamot and orange blossom. There will also be a brand ambassador offering spritzes of the perfume (and selling, in case you need a last-minute present) and a harpist providing lovely background tunes.

On the menu is a three-tiered selection of delectable goodies – think egg and white truffle finger sandwiches, mini grapefruit tartlets and, of course, scones served with whipped cream and berry jam. And if your mum loves a good cup of tea she won’t be disappointed, with blackcurrant and hibiscus, lemongrass and ginger, peppermint leaf and chamomile just a few of the varieties available.

The Mother’s Day High Tea is taking place on May 8, and there are two sittings to choose from: 1pm and 3pm. Advanced reservations are required, at a cost of $99 per person. If your Sunday plans are already sorted, high tea sessions are also running on Friday and Saturday with Parfums de Marly available to purchase in the lobby.
