Time Out says

Whether you’ve got a rolly polly pug yapper or great dane woofer, you’ve got to make sure your best furry friend is as much as a joy for your neighbours as they are for you. At Paws in the Park, you’ll learn all about how to be a responsible dog owner, and teach your pup a trick or two.

The free community event at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park will be hosting a 3k group dog walk, free vet checks and microchipping, dog grooming tips, and demonstrations by talented dancing, sledding and obstacle course-running doggos. There’ll also be the chance to show off your puppers skills and style across competition categories of scruffiest, cutest and tallest dog, plus the best trick and best NRL supporter (that last one’s a puzzle). The judge will be Harry Cooper from Harry’s Practice.

While you’re perusing the 50 or so stalls of puppy paraphernalia, stop in at the photo booth for a snap with your scruffer, or take part in the fun colouring-in and treat-guessing comps.
