Time Out says

Teens can level up their dance skills with Sydney’s premier dance company

Do you know a young person who is ready to take their contemporary dance skills to the next level? Are you a teen who is ready to step up? Young dancers have the opportunity to start off their year with the encouragement to extend their technique and explore their own creativity at Sydney Dance Company’s Summer Youth Intensive.

Keen young things can take classes in technique, improvisation, and creative development while dancing in the newly transformed Sydney Dance Company studios at Walsh Bay's famous wharf. Dancers aged 15-18 years of age can apply but they must have an intermediate to advanced level of training in ballet or contemporary dance.

The Youth Intensive is ideal for those who are preparing to enter full-time training, extend their skills and develop as a performer with their eye on a career in dance.

Head here to find out more and apply. Successful applicants will be advised of their offer by email and will be required to pay the course fee of $495 within one week of acceptance to confirm their place.
