The big finale for Camden’s annual town-wide festival is the Taste Food, Wine and Music Festival. This family-friendly fair will set up at Camden Town Farm on September 23 for an afternoon of taste tests, cooking demonstrations, markets and live entertainment for the kids and bigger party people.
More than 40 food stalls will be whipping together a fabulous lunch of burgers, dumplings, poutine and barbeque meats. Diners can keep the eat train going when the day’s events wrap up at 5pm, as cafés, bars and restaurants along Argyle Street will be offering more themed dinners and specials for the occasion. But before settling in for the feasting, check out the newly introduced produce lane at the festival, which showcases the region’s fresh natural produce.
Headlining the edible events is celebrity television chef Miguel Maestre, and Instragram’s baking and cake goddess Katherine Sabbath. They’ll be competing with an animal farm, live music and a jumping castle for attention.
