If you can't quite squeeze in a trip to Tassie in the forseeable future, let the best of the tiny-but-mighty Isle come to you at an afternoon pop-up cellar door down at Bulletin Place. Three Bottle Man will be hosting A Taste of Tasmania Laneway Cellar Door from 4pm on Thursday March 7. Stalls will be dedicated to Tasmanian wines and spirits, plus live oyster shucking, interactive cheese stations, food stalls and canapes. Your $25 ticket includes four tasting tokens so you can get amongst pours from Oatley Wines, Vintage & Vine, Samuel Smith & Sons, Red & Wine, Josef Chromy, Priory Ridge, Janz, and Ninth Island. Not full yet? You can buy more tokens at the event in lots of three, six or ten.
