The School of Life Sydney is welcoming esteemed Australian author Tim Winton for a one night only engagement on March 21. Winton will be discussing the often unseen and unspoken challenges of entering manhood, a theme that features heavily in his novels and essays.
Across the hour-long event the four-time Miles Franklin Award winner will lead a conversation through the issues that surround the definitions, developments and mutations of manhood that it has come to be known by. The evening will also feature a soundscape commissioned exclusively for Winton’s talks at the School of Life as well as the display of captivating photography. The event will also include an Auslan interpreter.
Doors open just after 6pm with standard tickets set at $40-$50. Guests can also pay a little more and receive a signed copy of Winton’s latest novel The Shepherd's Hut. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with one of Australia’s most important literary voices.
