‘The Box’ is the star of the show with an impressive sculptured ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows and flowy curtains, flooding the spacious, pillarless room with natural light. The adjacent ‘Suites One and Two’ are perfect for breakout events, or intimate dinners. Operable walls allow them to be opened up to connect with each other, or extended out to an alfresco balcony. Called ‘The Terrace’, this all-weather space is heated and covered over-head, and soaks up the atmosphere of the vibrant food and drinks precinct below.
As for food and drink? Cook & Waiter are curating the menus, so expect some fabulous options. They have built something of a catering empire when it comes to the gorgeous partner venues they work with across Sydney. Their line-up includes the industrial Carriageworks, the excellent new event space Machine Hall, the good-times-only Hordern Pavilion and the whimsical Australian Chamber Orchestra. Saltbox joins the lineup as their first flagship event space.
The Cook & Waiter team have more than a decade of experience working with some of Australia’s biggest corporate clients and luxury brands. The menus are crafted with beautiful, high-quality ingredients: think dainty canapes, grazing mezze tables, brownie bars and petit four trolleys.
