Since the Covid-19 coronavirus hit Japan, we have been urged to stay home and help curb the spread of the virus. And Japan's favourite robot cat, Doraemon, is here to help us do just that.
Doraemon has joined the movement to help flatten the curve with his new Stay Home Project, spreading the message that as long as we make the effort to stay in, 'the future will be fine'. There's more to the project than a slogan, though – the official Doraemon site is offering heaps of free online games and activities to help entertain us in quarantine.
On the Games page, you’ll find nine different games you can play online, featuring Doraemon and his friends. Try to get away from Gian the bully, solve some mind-bending sliding puzzles, and play a few rounds of whack-a-mouse.
The Colouring page is filled with numerous Doraemon illustrations you can download and print out to keep your kids occupied. You can even use them to give yourself a therapeutic activity to zone out with.
Download cute and colourful wallpapers for your computer, tablet or phone. You can also bring Doraemon into your next video chat with these backgrounds from the Fujiko F Fujio Museum and the Doraemon anime series.
