a taste full space join pop-up hosts Platterform at the Free Word Centre in Farringdon on Saturday 23rd of July (8pm til 2am).
Loosely based around the theme of the SURVIVALIST. The night will consist of a three course meal, conceptual drinks by the FIREWATER Society, performances, new art works and music from the art based group SPACECRAFT who are closely associated with a taste full space.
There are 30 tickets for the meal but anyone can come down after 10.30pm for drinks, music and to enjoy the art work.

We normally check out the latest on the underground scene on this site: http://supperclubfangroup.ning.com/
Beware, the quality tend to vary a lot. We can definitely recommend Fernandez & Leluu, charming and good food. If you are looking for something different and more intimate in Central London, try Cadrega, a new Italian Supper club in Marylebone, with really excellent food, freshly homemade pastas, etc. (only problem is that they only take 6 bookings per dinner...) Also, we loved Friday Dinner Secrets, run by an anglo-argentine couple. Great food in a lovely settitng. This is in Reading, but for us it was worth the trip!

I was only recently introduced to the underground Supper Club experience and was extremely lucky to have 'lost my virginity' the Parkholme Road Supper Club in Dalston: http://www.parkholmesupperclub.co.uk
It was a Syrian night, the chef Alicia, who does all this for charity, had actually gone to Syria to research and bring back special ingredients! 16 of us, from all walks of life and all parts of London and beyond, were sitting in a beautiful dining room around a large table which was laden with the most delicious dishes, from kibbeh to lamb with quince braised in pomegranate juice to various mezzes. The atmosphere was informal and very friendly, Alicia’s cooking is out of this world, and I can’t wait to go to another of her themed nights – her culinary skills include all kinds of global cuisines.
I believe the next supper club is on January 5th – I can’t recommend it enough!

I am looking for an original underground gem in London that holds either a thanks giving or pre-christmas dinner evening. I am thankful for a whisper through the word of mouth about such a venue... :-)

I've also started up an afternoon tea club in North East London called the n15 tea party. Think pink fizz in hand, bunting hanging in the window, Nina Simone on the stereo, book swaps, crafty afternoons, big pots of tea, cakes and scones and good conversation.
