Seeing as Time Out Market Boston is regularly open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, we see our fair share of hungry night owls. Maybe they’re amped up after a big Red Sox win, or maybe they’re just out on the town; whatever it is they’re celebrating, the two bars at Time Out Market Boston have some choice libations to help keep the good times rolling. But once a couple rounds have been knocked back, what are the best plates to line a stomach and keep some gas in the tank for the rest of the night? Out of the 100+ options  across 15 eateries, we’ve put together a list of the best dishes you'll want to order up when you're getting tipsy.

Ask us what’s the first thing that comes to mind when we’re hungry while drinking, and it’s burgers. Specifically, we're thinking of the much-prized burgers from Craigie on Main, which sell out by 6pm most nights. That’s why that Tony Maws' Craigie Burger outpost is a life-saver; go with the classic 'OG' variety (sharp cheddar and Craigie ketchup) or the 'Special' with Swiss and kimchi Russian dressing. If we’re feeling especially kind to ourselves, the 'Steakburger' variety does the trick with cheddar, charred umami onions and a slathering of burnt bread steak sauce. If you're with a group, treat the table to an order of chili fries, made with four different chiles and sharp cheddar.

When the culinary power couple of Tim and Nancy Cushman say they’re going to be taking on a new concept, you’d do well to check it out. This time it’s chicken-centered dishes and dumplings, with lots of options that are great for when you’re in the heat of the moment. The Bing-uritto’s egg crepe wrap surrounds some cluckin’ good sweet n’ spicy chicken along with crispy wontons and shredded iceberg, while the Cajun karaage chicken sando is one of the tastiest fried chicken sandwiches to have ever been created in The Hub. Sit back and watch your fellow revelers tear through an order of crunchy karaage chicken and waffle fries with miso-maple syrup, umami salt and yuzu kosho aioli, then wow everyone with a crispy, cheesy blast of edible fun in the form of the chicken, broccoli and cheddar gyoza with frico crust and spicy miso dipping sauce.

The hamburger’s got a lot of cred for being an indelible post-drinking option, but let’s not forget just how amazing a top Reuben sandwich is after you’ve downed a couple of rounds. Mamaleh’s has what you need with their salty, chewy slices of pastrami stacked on seeded rye, covered in Russian dressing, Swiss and sauerkraut that’s pressed hot until crunchy. It’s just the right kind of greasy prescription that the doctor ordered for a night out on the town. As a compromise, you can sub-in smoked mushrooms for the pastrami.

Few things taste better during (or after) a night of drinking than some fried salty goodness. Saltie Girl whips up fried clam rolls and letter-perfect fish and chips, though some locals can't resist the temptation of chef Kyle McClelland's fresh lobster rolls. Our money’s on the warm variety served with butter sauce, though we won't judge if you opt for the cold version, which features house mayo. For an irrestible finger food, don't miss out on the uni arancini with green garlic aioli.

How many of us find ourselves digging through the pantry for some post-drinking pasta after partying it up? A mound of carbs topped with cheese and sauce comforts like nothing else, but why not leave making a good dish of pasta to the pros? Michael Schlow’s counter at Time Out Market Boston offers a pitch-perfect rendition of spaghetti cacio e pepe, featuring the right balance of coarse black pepper, sharp Pecorino Romano and al dente pasta. Or maybe you need the sustinance and protein provided by an order of Mimi's famous meatballs or a light yet crisp chicken Milanese.

Stumble home after drinking and you’re bound to be picking up the phone for some pizza, but why not be a pioneer and spare yourself the same old pies? The Roman-style pies at Michael Schlow’s Monti have all the elements you’re looking for. Go with the standard Margarita variety (San Marzano tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella), or if you really want to let everyone know it's a party, opt for the wild mushroom variety, featuring truffle and grated Parm.

From lemony and herbaceous chicken to aromatic braised beef and lamb, the protein-packed wraps at anoush’ella — also filled with mezze spreads, fresh vegetables and herbs, pickles and sauces — seldom last long on a plate before they’re inhaled. If you're hosting a group who's looking to nosh and graze, look no further than the mezze sampler, which allows everyone to mix and match bites of freshly made hummus, labne, baba-ganoush, walnut harissa, baked chickpea fritters and grilled halloumi.

It’s no surprise our most drunken instincts draw us toward what’s salty and greasy, but we’re not all cut from the same cloth. For those of you who find yourselves hankering for something a bit sweeter, Union Square Donuts is your guiding light in Time Out Market Boston’s brimming harbor of food. Flavors like Boston cream and maple bacon are hard to resist, though the rotating seasonal flavors are always worth checking out as well.
