Create your own Pokéstop bar crawl at these Chicago bars

Everyone has stumbled over someone on the sidewalk playing Pokémon Go, and those who aren't stumbling over people are running themselves into inanimate objects while trying to catch whatever illustrious Pokémon they happen to be after—speaking of, has anyone seen a Pikachu in the city? Where can I find it?

Regardless of which camp you fall into, Pokémon Go is affecting everyone in the city, so we may as well make the most of it. Whether you're training to be the very best or catching Pidgeys to level up like a pro, sometimes you need to just sit and stay at a spot with a lure to catch a few more digital monsters. We've rounded up our favorite bars that are Pokéstops or gyms, so you can kill two birds with one stone; namely, drinking and catching them all.

Now remember, these are bars and they rely on people to buy drinks to pay their bills, so you should buy a drink or two and tip appropriately in between gym battles. Bars are also a great place for socializing, so you probably shouldn't keep your eyes glued to their phone the entire time. You can always strike up a conversation with the person next to you about how much more awesome Team Valor is than Team Mystic, and why no one seems to be on Team Instinct.

Now, hurry up and start charting out your next booze-fueled Pokémon expedition—you'll probably hatch a few eggs along the way.
