River North and Streeterville are known for steakhouses, but they have plenty of other culinary gems too
Anyone who's been to Chicago has probably visited the Near North Side, the community area that contains River North and Streeterville. It's home to the Magnificent Mile, one of the best-known shopping districts in the country, as well as one of the most iconic attractions in the city: Navy Pier. With an amazing art scene and some of the best restaurants in town, River North and Streeterville have plenty of appeal for tourists and locals alike. The area is accessible by way of bus, Red and Brown lines or a short scoot off of Lake Shore Drive or the Kennedy Expressway.
