Hannah Gadsby: Woof!

Aussie comic Hannah Gadsby’s last Edinburgh Fringe show was the seismic ‘Nanette’, the deft mix of stand-up comedy and personal trauma that turned then into a household name (of sorts). It also ended with them quitting comedy, which absolutely did not happen, and despite some forays into art there has been one stand-up show since, in the shape of 2019’s ‘Douglas’, which didn’t come to the Fringe. But now in what is sure to be one of the year’s hotter tickets – they’re back with ‘Woof!’. We know very little about it but it sounds like it involves Gadsby processing the fame that came with ‘Nanette’.
