Opened in 1981 in Elmadağ by İsmail Akcan and his son-in-law Mustafa Yazıcı, Güler Ocakbaşı is a family-run operation now in the hands of the third generation. A second location in Esentepe opened its doors in 2010. Among the specialties of the grill are the beef and chicken kebabs infused with kaşar cheese and pistachios. With over 40 different kebabs and 52 types of meze made fresh daily by its tireless chefs, you can't blame Güler Ocakbaşı from skimping on variety.
