Art forms in black and white have always had an added sense of mystery to it. Using that to his advantage, Malaysian photographer Eric Peris is renowned for his black and white photography that revolves around the themes of abandonment, rebirth, preservation and extinction. To commemorate the tenth anniversary of his sister’s passing, Peris put together ‘Akka’, using roses as his core subject.
