Coloniality, Modernity and Museum Futures

This talk by independent curator Ong Jo-Lene explores transcultural modernism in a comparative perspective. She will be presenting her study on this topic, examining how Euro-American and Southeast Asian art institutions make sense of coloniality and modernity, and each interpret time in relation to history. Jo-Lene has works published in art magazine Leap and is a regular guest on BFM.
