Time Out says

Not resting on their laurels, Henry Butcher Art Auctioneers are back with their eagerly awaited fifth sale, which features a star-studded Southeast Asian section for the first time. Highly regarded regional artists Arie Smit, Lucien Frits Ohl, Popo Iskandar and Erica Hestu Wahyuni join the fray to complement gems by some of the leading lights in Malaysian art like Abdul Latiff Mohidin, Dato’ Chuah Thean Teng, Chang Fee Ming and Ahmad Zakii Anwar.

Following the success of last September’s maiden Young Contempo Auction, the initiative returns for a second time, with works by gifted local contemporary artists Fauzul Yusri, Raduan Man, Justin Lim and Latif Maulan up for sale. Eric Peris, Lim Cheng Hoe, Tajuddin Ismail, Haron Mokhtar and Shia Yih Ying also mark their Henry Butcher Art Auction debut this time around, adding to the surfeit of big names that has graced this renowned event over the years. A full viewing of the 90-odd works on offer will be held at White Box, MAP@Publika from April 11 to 20 (11am-7pm) while the auction will take place Apr 21, 1pm at Sime Darby Convention Centre.
