Look to See

In conjunction with Shalini Ganendra Fine Art’s participation in the recent Gallery Weekend Kuala Lumpur, ‘Look to See’ is a showcase of carefully crafted works by three artists – Bibi Chew, Zac Lee and Mok Yee – that focus strongly on technique. The pieces encompass a variety of themes and mediums: Bibi Chew incorporates physical elements into her pieces like eggs, sand, coffee strainers and more as allegories of marginalisation and destruction; Zac Lee’s translucent paintings depict the challenges of biasness; while Mok Yee sources readily available materials to shape ideas of community and culture into his installations.
