Renowned photographer Teo Bee Yen takes you to see the essence of life and the truth that lies within the world in his latest exhibition depicting the simple lives of various lower class groups. Shot in black and white, the images attempt to show not only the poverty and adversity of the people of the lower class who often live in discordance, but rather their positive attitudes despite being poor. In the past, Teo has won numerous local and international awards for his works, including honorary titles from the Royal Photographic Society and Photographic Society of America.
