Back for its 2013 season is Short + Sweet Festival, a short play festival featuring ten-minute bursts of theatre pieces in five categories: theatre (Oct 16-19 & Oct 23-26), dance (Oct 2-5 & Oct 9-12), musical (Sep 25-28), stand-up comedy and new category, song (Sep 18-21). The pieces are showcased by established and emerging writers, directors, dancers, actors and more, who will also be competing against each other in each category by a panel of judges. Awards and prizes will be given out on the final day of each festival.
