The Collaboration

Vallette Gallery collaborates with French restaurant, Maison Française, for a special exhibition featuring two Malaysian artists, Lim Kim Hai and Loo Foh Sang. Unlike a typical museum environment, customers will be able to observe the paintings while dining at the restaurant. Lim’s work, titled ‘Golden Joy’, will be the largest work in the exhibition where he uses his muse, an apple, and focuses on light and form, shadow and space. Loh, on the other hand, explores the change of seasons in ‘Winter #1’. Both artists share the same inspirations for this exhibition, drawing from elements that derive from the natural landscape.
