The Solitude Series

After nearly 25 years of creating prints using the same method, renowned print-maker Juhari Said decided to expand his skill set. ‘The Solitude Series’ is the outcome of Juhari’s quest for self-discovery and his search for new methods in his art form. The pieces in this exhibition reveal his experimental streak, with some works looking more like sculptures rather than prints. Also in this series are some of Juhari’s never-before-seen works, including prints he made in 2010 for a solo exhibition in Tokyo.
