Could ‘live performance’ club nights be the latest trend in the city’s nightlife scene? If so, Hits Club is doing it right. Gone are the days where Filipino bands are doing covers of classic hits; these days, ‘live performance’ comes in the form of Thai/Chinese bands belting out Top 40 Chinese pop songs, and occasionally some Thai numbers. This formula seems to work with the local crowd. When performers (in this case, young and female) come on stage in the tightest skirts imaginable, one can only assume Hits Club draws a certain mature men demographic.
Don’t get us wrong, it is absolutely fine, some of us just prefer to let loose in a different way. That’s why they also run regular themed nights like Guys Bondage Night and Sexy Nurse Night (erm, kinky). If you’re not into live performances, there is an alfresco area which plays Top 40 hits. The drinks menu is pretty standard and yes, they have happy hour promotions here too.
