Time Out says

Sitting atop Bangsar Village II is Mantra Bar KL, the city’s newest rooftop watering hole that boasts an alfresco deck with panoramic views of the surrounding neighbourhood and a long bar that commands your view as you walk in.

Traditional cocktails here are flourished with Asian twists and flavours. Go for the Pulau Panjang, Mantra’s take on the classic Long Island with calamansi. It’s served kopitiam-style in a plastic bag in a stainless steel cup, something different from the typical cocktail or highball glass. Or the Mekong Sunset, a Southeast Asian-inspired cocktail of bourbon, orange juice, honey, calamansi and kaffir lime leaf.

For bites, choose from a selection of tapas with Asian influences; think mantau sliders with pulled beef or lobster, or crispy whitebait fish with sambal and a Japanese onsen egg.

Mantra has a comfortable, cosy vibe that is warm and inviting. There are tables and high stools as well as plush sofas both indoors and out on the deck where you can lounge about with a cocktail in hand. Perfect for unwinding after a long day at work or hanging out with friends on the weekend.
