Time Out says
After a string of popular outlets in Johor, The Bierhaus has made its way to our city and has opened a new branch in the neighbourhood of Taman Tun. This casual gastropub offers diners that simple failsafe combination of good beer paired with pork.
At The Bierhaus TTDI, a spacious area allows for easy moving about and the cosy warm vibes are punctuated by familiar Top 40 chart oldies blasting from the speakers (as the night wears on, the music veers towards more current beats). The friendly staff are attentive, and large screen TVs are placed at strategic spots so you can watch the game from anywhere in the bar.
The extensive food menu lists an impressive range of options to choose from – there are tapas and appetisers, soups and salads, burgers and pizza, pasta (you won't go wrong with the spaghetti marinara), mains and more. And of course, we can’t forget the signature pork dishes. There's a delicious honey mustard pork chop done well, huge spicy pork ribs smothered in sauce, sizzling sausage platters, roast pork belly, the classic pork knuckle, ibérico pâté, and even a wild boar curry pizza. Don’t miss the luncheon meat fries.
Pair your food with an ice-cold beer. Take your pick from the selection of craft beers from around the world, or stick to the familiar and go with the usual options in bottles and fresh on tap. There’s also a range of classic cocktails available – think Long Island, Screwdriver, Bloody Mary, mojitos and more – as well as plenty of shots and liquors. Bonus: prices here are good and the drink specials are great deals, so you don’t have to worry about putting a dent in your wallet for good beer and good food.
So the next time you’re looking for a chill place to hang out at the end of a work day or simply somewhere to have a reliably good meal and drinks, you know where to go.
