Started by Randall Wong back in 2006, The Met Kuala Lumpur takes its name from the city it’s most inspired by – New York. The salons are sleek black and white spaces, stocked with Redken products, and staffed by hairdressers predominantly trained by Toni & Guy. There are two separate teams for colouring and cutting, and their specialties are really theatrical colour changes, conducted by their professional colourists. If you’re after a scarlet crop or Rihanna-style undercut, this is the place to go – and if you want something a little more natural, the colourists promise a textured, multi-faceted result.
