Freak out over your meal this Halloween weekend with these top five seasonal treats:

Bloody Juliet at THIRDWAVE

The café's gory spin-off of its prettily plated Juliet's Dream dessert is like a (remarkably styled) crime scene on a plate. It's made up of charcoal meringue roses, coconut panna cotta, vanilla and almond snow, raspberry sorbet, and red berries 'blood'. Presumably served without the creepy hand model. Available Oct 30-Nov 1.

Berry Me Alive at Softsrve

Softsrve marries raspberry with strawberry sorbet to create the limited-edition Redberry flavour this Halloween, topped with dark chocolate crumble and edible flowers. The creep factor is in the honey-filled syringe. Also try the The Little Witch: Redberry soft serve with cotton candy and popping candy, the result of which resembles the hair of a troll dollAvailable until Nov 8.

#HalloweenMonster at CoffeeSociété and Garage 51

Never in our wildest childhood dreams did we ever think to put Mamee Monster in a dessert. CoffeeSociété and Garage 51 have added a new limited-time-only member to their 'Messed Up Family' range of freakshakes, and it's a collaboration with Mamee Monster – meaning yes, you will get to enjoy the nostalgic snack atop a chocolate milkshake with the bonus addition of jelly worms and popcorn. And peanut butter. Available until Nov 19.

Not-A-Pumpkin Pie at A Pie Thing

The pie shop makes it perfectly clear that this isn't your typical pumpkin filling; instead, it's a sweet potato pie with a scoop of yam ice cream. Warning: comes with a 'spider'. Wash it down with the Blue Potion and finish off with an evil laugh. Available until Oct 31.

Frappula Frappuccino at Starbucks

Starbucks's infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte may not have reached Malaysia yet, but here's a seasonal drink that did make it here: the Frappula Frappuccino, the coffee chain's new Halloween-inspired drink that launched on Tuesday (fun fact: the US only got theirs on October 28 ). According to Starbucks Malaysia's Facebook post, the Frappula is 'a layer of eerie mocha sauce topped with innocently sweet Vanilla Frappuccino and soaked in terrifying ruby red raspberry syrup, creating the unmistakable mark of a vampire’s latest victim.' Terrifying if you fear sugar comas. Available until Oct 31.
