The monochrome ball of fluff that is Malaysia's panda cub has finally made its debut three months after its birth, and it's a cutie (apparently she fell asleep during her public appearance. Watch the video below).

Now that you've cooed over the baby panda (and considered making panda eyes something to flaunt instead of hide), it's time to get your creative name-penning brain to work as the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) has launched a contest to name the panda cub

Here's how to enter:
1. Choose a Chinese name that has meaning in Chinese characters or pinyin. The original and appropriate name must also be translated to Bahasa Melayu or English (make sure you do your homework; don’t accidentally come up with a name given to another panda loaned to another country).
2. Complete the slogan that ends with '...bersama memelihara hidupan liar' in not more than 20 words.
3. Submit your entry online by December 17. Good news: You aren't limited to only one entry, so send as many as you like.

Note: At the moment, the contest page doesn't actually state what you'll win, except that it's something 'exciting'.
