You can hear pots of tea brewing in anticipation of KL’s first cake delivery service...

What it is
Crystal and Elaine at Eat Cake Today run a delivery service bringing treats from some of the best bakers in town to us.

What you get
So far, the carefully curated list of bakers on their website includes Jaslyn Cakes (we’re eyeing that vanilla bean cheesecake already), Little Tee Cakes (orange poppy seed!), The Accidental Bakers, and more. However, we can only get whole cakes for now. Although they’re called Eat Cake Today, they may as well rename themselves ‘Eat Dessert Today’; delivery of macarons, cupcakes, cookies and more desserts are in the works.

How it works
Order, pay online, and get your cake within four hours. For certain cakes, you’ll get them the next day. Cakes start from RM85, and the fee is inclusive of express delivery services around central KL and PJ on weekdays between 11am and 5pm. Just in time for tea.

Visit www.eatcaketoday.com for more info. If you prefer to eat cake in a café, see our list of KL's best cafés for desserts
