Bangsar Book Club

This month, the book club will discuss ‘Wild Swans’ by Jung Chang. This popular bestseller has sold more than 13 million copies. It tells a tragic tale of nightmarish cruelty and uplifting story of bravery and survival. Using China in the twentieth century as the narrative background, the story explains three women from different generations in a family – the grandmother given to a warlord as a concubine, the communist mother, and the daughter herself.
