DiverseCity: Vivek Mahbubani

Bilingual comedian Vivek Mahbubani from Hong Kong wears many hats: he makes people laugh with his Cantonese and English material, moonlights as a mixed martial arts ring announcer, plays the drums for HK heavy metal band Eve of Sin, and designs snazzy websites. After basking in his glory of being crowned Hong Kong's Funniest Person in Chinese in 2007, he went on to win in the English category at the 2008 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. He's hosted the 'Hong Kong Stories' TV series, made a cameo in the movie 'All's Well, Ends Well 2009', and is a headliner at TakeOut Comedy Club Hong Kong.
