'3 Faces' by the ASWARA Dance Company sees a total of 15 performers in three diverse dance styles: bharatanatyam, main zapin and contemporary dance. The classical Tamil Nadu dance form tells the tale of 'Netranthi Nerathile', which depicts a girl's possessive love for Lord Muruga and her reaction when she finds out about his dalliance with another woman. For main zapin, three repertoires of the popular traditional Johor dance will be performed: zapin lenga, suara siam, ghalet and pekajang. After the two traditional dance performances, the final section of the night offers contemporary dances by James Kan, Joseph Gonzales, Umesh Shetty and Raziman Sarbini. The show is part of the Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival and is free to the public.
