Following its debut showcase last year, SWARA Community Arts Center returns with two nights of classical Indian music and dance. The centre seeks to raise awareness and funds to provide holistic education through performing arts as well as providing free meals and programmes for the underprivileged. The two-day event will feature performances by sitar-tabla duo Samuel J Dass and Prakash Kandasamy (Feb 27) plus a mash-up of Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Kathak and dubstep by Geetha Shankaran-Lam, Neha Mondal Chakravarthy and Nitin Shirale alongside ten classical Indian dancers (Feb 28).
