Hi-5 House of Learning

A global television success for over 15 years, Hi-5 has landed on Malaysian soil with their first Hi-5 House of Learning. The centre offers an innovative, multi-faceted approach to learning based on Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, Jean Piaget's cognitive theories of child development and other educational theories by renowned psychologists and educators. What's unique about Hi-5's approach is that the schooling week starts with a specially recorded greeting to the children from the Hi-5 cast in which they introduce the theme and learning activities for the week. The curriculum offers an interactive and creative approach to learning that taps into five important areas - language, knowledge, music, creativity, physical skills and technology - in order to empower children to be independent thinkers and confident communicators. Also, the benefit of their multi-modal approach is that it caters to children’s different learning styles while encouraging them to branch out and gain knowledge in new ways. Besides their friendly learning approach, the school is equipped with child-friendly facilities such as a rock climb wall, a music room, a cookery room and their very own Hi-5 gymnasium besides other facilities.
