'Baybayin' screening

The KataKatha initiative will be hosting a film screening of the Filipino film ‘Baybayin’ in conjunction with the exhibition ‘This World, Out Here’. The film is based on an indigenous Palawan myth in which two half-sisters fell in love with a native man whose only form of communication is through the ancient script Baybayin. The director Kanakan Balintagos will be present for a Q&A session after the screening.
