Catch the 2018 film 'Vent Du Nord' ('Northern Wind') at this screening of Cinem'Alliance. The film is set simultaneously in France and Tunisia, and captures the lives of the working class in both, following a factory that closes in one and then opening in another and how two families are affected by the ensuing social and economic changes. While Hervé's fellow factory workers are protesting, he chooses instead to pursue his dreams of becoming a fisherman. In Tunisia, Foued finally gets a menial job, but he doesn't mind as this may be his chance to win his friend's heart who works at the same factory.
Entrance is free, but you can RSVP at Alliance Française's site.
