Movies @ H.O.T. Market: Malaysian Gods

To replace Publika's Films Beneath The Stars, films will now be screened simultaneously with Publika's H.O.T. Market every Tuesday. Throughout the month of April, catch award-winning films by local independent production Da Huang Pictures. Apr 17 will mark the screening of Amir Muhammad's 'Malaysian Gods'. The film takes a look at pivotal protests in Malaysia commencing from the 'reformation' era. Viewers will witness interviews with people working or living at locations of demonstrations while all of them are done in Tamil, the main language of the smallest of the three major ethnic groups in Malaysia.
