Mandarin Oriental brings award-winning Swedish chef, Karl Jonas Grip to give diners a taste of authentic Scandinavian cuisine with a limited-time à la carte menu. Start with smoked eel with egg royal or the råraka (hash browns) served with black roe and crème fraiche. The choices of soup include the cauliflower puree with parsley bouillon and crayfish soup with leek pie. Main course highlights include salmon gravlax with mustard sauce and creamed potato, and poached halibut with shrimps horseradish poached egg. For dessert, try the vanilla parfait with Swedish berries and almond crisp, Norwegian apple with dark rye or deep fried Camembert with cloudberries and parsley.
