If a buffet seems too much, go for Al-Amar Express's iftar menu which includes dates, soup, one main course, juice and dessert. For soup, options include lentil, mushroom, vegetable and chicken cream. Mains include chicken or lamb kabbseh, sayadieh rice with cumin sauce, doud bacha with basmati rice, chicken supreme sauce rice, and oriental rice with lamb or chicken. Drink options include jellab juice and qamar el din (dried apricot paste juice). For dessert, have mouhalabieh, creme caramel or baklava. Take note that the menu changes daily for soups and main courses.
