On 14 and 15 June, Lafite will be holding a "Dad's the Way" cooking programme. On day one, all fathers and children will visit a supermarket with Executive Chef Rudolf Kunkel and learn how to select fresh seafood. Upon return to Shangri-La's Lafite, they will learn how to prepare a Father’s Day lunch and then enjoy a light meal.
On Father's Day itself, dads and kids return to cook lunch in the hotel kitchen. Kids can then serve the four-course lunch to their fathers and family (pre-booking for the rest of the family at RM150 per person for a minimum of four people is necessary). The two-day cooking workshop for father and child (minimum age six years old) costs RM250.
