Star Light Kids is an activity centre for children encompassing a space-themed jungle gym play area, café, event spaces for parties, activities for children and forums for parents on a monthly basis. With over 5000 square feet of space, Star Light Kids is now the biggest indoor playground in the vicinity. When we visit, the centre is barely a week old, with the official launch planned for 22 August.
Fariza, the ‘Kaptain’ of Star Light Kids, has plenty of plans for the future: ‘I’m thinking of doing pre- and post-natal classes and CPR. We’ll also be doing kids’ activity classes like Zumba. We’ll have arts & crafts class and kids’ birthday parties too.” The highlight of the sprawling indoor playground has to be the ball blasting area, which has also proved popular with dads, who ask if they can come in and play there while their child invariably hits the jungle gym. A note to parents: children must be accompanied by one guardian at all times.
